Seeking Night of 1000 Expressions Planning Committee Members
Tindakan is seeking volunteer planning committee members for our upcoming event Night of 1000 Expressions. This is a volunteer opportunity to get involved in local social issues and raise awareness and get involved with social planning. We are looking for people who can commit around 5-10 hours a week to putting together a fundraiser art show in June.
Night of a Thousand Expressions is a multi-media art exhibit showcasing artists’ impressions of eco-social justice issues to raise awareness and support for those working on the frontlines making true, direct change. Everyone is encouraged to manifest his or her inner artist, as we believe anyone can be an artist. Each artist is invited to create a piece expressing his or her view or concern about a specific eco-social justice issue. Night of a Thousand Expressions is also a social event where art enthusiasts AND eco-social activists can engage in meaningful discussions regarding eco-social justice issue.
Tindakan is an integral part of the movement to educate, inspire, entertain and empower individuals, businesses and communities to live in more direct sustainable harmony with the Earth. We are not only introducing outside ideas, but equally giving individuals and organizations the chance to express their own concerns and solutions.
Net funds raised from our edutainment projects and events will be allocated toward trusted organizations and projects that are involved in ecological-social justice and awareness issues.
This is a volunteer position based in the greater Boulder and Denver areas. Internship credit can be available to college students.
